So, I did a quick model with SketchUp, just to know what MTV3 will look like.
Here it is:
There are four sandwich-structured panels (two 5mm plywood glued a frame made with 18×40). So it will be rigid enough. They are linked with piano hinges.
Upper and under caps keep the part together and help protecting Lego pieces. It is held in place with wood stud and long threaded rod.
So our powerful computer will be protected.
